Verdugo Hills Hospital Offers Babysitter Training

One-day classes for kids aged 11 to 15 teaches valuable skills that can lead to valuable employment.

In a press release, the ’s Beginnings Family Education Program announced it will offer a babysitting class on December 17 designed for boys and girls aged 11 to 15 years. The one-day course will teach safety and preparedness, including infant/child CPR, first aid, accident prevention, telephone skills, poison, fire and earthquake plans, and other life-saving skills. Participants will receive a certificate upon completion of the course.

The class is held from 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. at the hospital’s Council Room on the 4th floor.
