St. Francis' Lacrosse MVP to Play Summer Tournaments Across the Country

Patrick McGoldrick plays on a lacrosse team comprised of kids from 10 states and Canada that raises money for people stricken with leukemia.

Patrick McGoldrick, a junior at St. Francis High School (who'll be a senior in three days), will be participating in elite level lacrosse tournaments this summer with nationally recognized club team Brady’s Bunch.

Brady’s Bunch plays for Brady Wein, a five year old diagnosed with Leukemia.  The team is based in Phoenix and is comprised of players from 10 states and Canada, according to a club press release. 

McGoldrick was invited to join the club prior to the 2012-13 winter campaign where he quickly made an impact as defensive midfielder and face-off specialist, the press release states. McGoldrick was recently named Most Valuable Player for the St. Francis Varsity Lacrosse team. Additionally, McGoldrick will participate in summer football at St. Francis, as he prepares to anchor the Golden Knights' defense at middle linebacker.

The Bunch will take part in the Denver Shootout from June 15-16 at Dick’s Sporting Goods Field. The Denver Shootout is a high profile college recruiting event that attracts the top club teams in the west along with college coaches from all over the nation.

Brady’s Bunch then travels to Boston for the Legacy Invitational Lacrosse Tournament,  July 8-9, when 25 elite level club teams from 15 states and Canada will des compete in front of 100-plus college recruiters.
