Time is running out to submit an entry for the Foothill Municipal Water District's (FMWD) second annual K-12 student art contest.

This educational project serves to inspire student creativity while considering the stewardship of our precious water resources, said Daniel Drugan, a water program technician for the FMWD. The contest is open to all students K-12, attending a school located within the service area of a member water agency that FMWD serves (Altadena, La Cañada and La Crescenta and Montrose).

Entries may use the following art media: crayons, markers, pencil, paints, watercolors, pastels, cut paper, or fabric.  Photography or computer generated artwork is not permitted. The contest packet, which includes all rules, examples of winning entries, and the entry form can be found here.
