Crepes: Could be Breakfast, Could be Dinner
Whether you're sweet or savory, everyone loves a crepe.
Hungry but not sure what you feel like eating? Need to devour something but it's not exactly meal time? Crepes are great any time and can be a quick, delicious, and inexpensive breakfast, lunch, dinner, or snack.
Creme De La Crepe in Old Town Pasadena is open daily from 8 am to 10 pm to service your sweet and/or savory cravings. With a laid-back, French bistro vibe sans le attitude, hit up the crepery for a breakfast the offers buckwheat crepe creations and sweet crepe temptations. Omelettes and benedicts are also on the menu, along with a sampling of waffles. Le Complete breakfast crepe includes an egg sunny side up, ham, jack cheese, and slices of avocado for $10.95
Lunch and dinner offer heartier crepe fillings, like filet mignon with port wine, mushrooms, and bleu cheese ($16) or a Normandie combination of goat cheese, spinach, grilled onions, and proscitutto ($15). If you can't find what you want, you can create your own crepe for guaranteed happiness. Entrees, salad, and the elusive offerings of fondue and raclette are also available. A selection of wines, beverages, espresso drinks, and desserts round out the menu.
