Want to Help this Animal Rescue Group Win Pet Supplies?

There are two days left to nominate Happy Strays Rescue for Kriser's For Your Pet's All-Natural Life's Christmas In July Contest.

Happy Strays is a non-profit cat rescue organization that cares for stray, abandoned, and orphaned cats and kittens. All of the cats are attended to medically: they're spayed or neutered, vaccinated and tested for feline leukemia and FIV. After that, the volunteers begin the search for permanent, loving homes at adoption events held at the PETCOs in La Canada and Santa Clarita.  

To nominate Happy Strays for the contest, just send an email to socalkrisers@formulapr.com and say you are nominating Happy Strays Rescue. The top 10 groups will be part of a public vote on Facebook and the winner will receive $15,000 in pet supplies.

The non-profit's Lexie Marie McDermott is asking for community help on this one.

"Please nominate us and share and tell your friends to nominate us, too,'' she said.
