Los Gringos Locos Moving to the Old Conrad's

The popular Mexican restaurant gains about 60 seats and a much larger bar in the move.

Taco Tuesday is coming to the old Conrads.

Los Gringos Locos, a La Cañada Mexican restaurant popular for it's Taco Tuesdays, is relocating to the old Conrad's building, a few blocks west on Foothill Boulevard, Manager Carlos Martinez said Friday. Construction is expected to start in September.

"We are excited. Bigger bar, parking and a patio,'' Martinez wrote in an email to Patch, adding that the restaurant expects to gain roughly 60 seats with the move.

Depending on permits, Los Gringos Locos hopes to open early next year, he said.

After anchoring the since 1968, Conrad’s closed its doors May 22, leaving a third vacancy in the Foothill Boulevard strip mall.
