LCF Business Owner Racks up Wins in Bodybuilding Competition
Adrian Pietrariu is a La Cañada resident and proprietor of West Coast Boot Camp on Foothill Boulevard.
La Canada resident and small business owner Adrian Pietrariu recently won four awards at the Mr. & Mrs. Iron Gladiator competition in Corona, CA. The event is a natural bodybuilding competition, meaning all participants must be free of steroids and other non-natural substances, according to a press release.
Pietrariu, a local physical trainer, and owner of West Coast Boot Camp, competes in the weight class known as “Novice and Open.” At Saturday’s competition, he won the following: first place Novice Men Short; Overall Winner Novice Men, first Place Open Men Medium, and the top overall prize of Best Poser of the Night.
Raised in Romania, Pietrariu immigrated to Michigan with his family as a boy. He soon taught himself to forgo the easily available fast food he fell in love with in the states. Now he participates in bodybuilding competitions to inspire his private clients and the dozens of students he works out daily on the streets of La Cañada and La Crescenta.
