LCFEF Jog-A-Thon is this Wednesday!

The La Canada Flintridge Educational Foundation is pleased to announce that its 15th annual Jog-A-Thon will take place on Wednesday, November 14th at each LCUSD elementary school duringP.E. The purpose of the Jog-A-Thon is for all students to participate and have fun while raising fundsfor our schools. The LCFEF provides funds for art, music, drama, counseling and Spanish staff at eachelementary school site as well as class-size stabilization in grades K-3.

Family and friends can once again join the action by pledging money for your jogger's effort on theFoundation’s interactive website, http://pledge.lcfef.org. Students will have 20 minutes to jog/walk as many laps as they can. Laps are graduated in size by gradelevel, and joggers will receive water and popsicles at the event. 
Jog-A-Thon is sponsored by Allied Waste and Wells Fargo Bank. All joggers will receive an event t-shirtand the top ten fundraising families will win Apple products including ipads, itouches, and ipad nanos.The family raising the most funds in support of their jogger and will win their choice of either an all newiPhone 5 or iPad as a grand prize.
