Community Center of LCF Appoints New Exec Director
Deborah Jordan joins CCLCF from the Asia Society and Miliken Institute.
According to a press release, the Community Center of La Cañada Flintridge (CCLCF) recently appointed Deborah Jordan as Executive Director.
The appointment follows the recent election of Ara Aslanian as President of the Board. Aslanian is an alumnus of as well as current CEO and President of Inverselogic, a comprehensive technology solutions company based in Glendale. In the upcoming year, Aslanian and Jordan hope to focus on enhancing the well-being of the community with programs related to enrichment, recreation, and social purposes.
“Given Deborah’s experience and success, CCLCF selected her to serve as the Executive Director,” Aslanian remarked in the prepared statement. “She is a proven leader who has demonstrated the ability to bring together members of the community, civic leaders, and business executives; her focus will be on delivering quality programs to the community.”

Jordan is a long-time resident of Crescenta Valley. She previously served as Executive Director of Asia Society Southern California and Director of External Affairs and Events for the Miliken Institute. Her expertise lies in the areas of funding, sponsorship, and membership for nonprofit organizations. While at Asia Society and the Miliken Institute, she developed strategic relationships with other nonprofit organizations through the greater Los Angeles area. She will join CCLCF staff members including Program Director Tara Davies, Preschool Director Danielle Caputo, and Ceramics Director Miriam Balcazar.
“I am very happy with our selection and the process the Board Members and staff undertook to select Deborah and we look forward to working with her,” commented Aslanian in the statement. “The selection of the new Executive Director was a very strong process – with over 90 applicants. The finalists completed a minimum of five interviews wherein every Board Member and Director participated. Deborah’s selection was a unanimous vote by the Board.”
