Franklin Haynes has been entertaining crowds with his marionette led variety shows since 1985. His performances include songs, dance, puppet antics and even an educational segment briefly outlining the history of the marionette arts, and instructional hands-on lessons where crowd members actually lend their hands in controlling his evocative puppets.
Haynes enthralled the kids of La Canada Flintridge -- and their grown-ups too -- and everyone had a chance to bring the puppets to life with their own unique touch.
