Brian Sullivan will be leaving his post as horticulture director of Descanso Gardens to take a job in New York City, according to a report in the La Canada Valley Sun.
Originaly from Boston, Sullivan has spent two decades of his life in California and is set to become the vice president of landscape, gardens and outdoor collections at the 250-acre New York Botanical Garden in the Bronx.
Sullivan told the Sun that he will "look forward to the next chapter. I'll be working for a pretty amazing organization.”
