Wet Weather: Southland on Stormwatch this Week

Another storm is forecast to hit Southern California into the weekend.

The National Weather Service is forecasting what they call a "significant early season storm" later this week and into the weekend.

The storm may bring heavy rain and mountain snows to La Cañada and the rest of the southland Friday and into Saturday.

However, computer models are showing discrepancies on the exact timing of the storm system, according to the Weather Service.

“The current thinking is that rain will develop on the Central Coast late Thursday night…reaching the Los Angeles Basin sometime Friday or early Friday night,” according to a statement by the National Weather Service.

Temperatures in La Cañada should hover around 60 degrees for Veteran's Day and drop to the mid 50s Saturday. The low for Saturday night is expected to drop to 47 degrees.
