Weather Warning: Fire Danger High, Gusty Winds Expected

The National Weather Service has issued a hazardous weather outlook for San Gabriel Valley and other parts of Los Angeles.

Gusty winds and single-digit humidty have sparked a hazardous weather outlook in the San Gabriel Valley.

Friday's dry, windy conditions elevate the risk for fire danger, according to the National Weather Service's morning announcement. The hazardous weather outlook will continue through the evening.

Moderate Santa Ana winds will blow through Los Angeles County this afternoon, with gusts hitting 35 to 50 mph across the mountains and valleys, the weather service reported.
