While approximately 41,000 Southern California Edison , the company is reporting that the power will soon be restored.
According to company officials, 95 percent of Southern California Edison customers that lost their power in Wednesday's windstorm will have power restored by 8 p.m. Sunday.
La Cañada residents without power after 8 p.m. will likely have service restored Monday evening. Edison officials stated 99.9 percent of all residences will have power restored by 8 p.m. Monday.
SouthCal Edison currently has more than 270 crews working to restring power lines today.
Meanwhile, opened Sunday on a limited basis. A Gardens spokesperson stated power had been restored in the Van de Kamp complex but the Rose Garden, Boddy House, Sturt Haaga Garden and water features remain closed.
The garden will be open at 10 a.m. for members and the public on Monday and Tuesday. The cafe will only serve beverages.
Strong winds are expected to return to Southern California Monday, but the San Gabriel Valley is expected to be spared from the storm. Santa Clarita, Porter Ranch and Malibu are expected to receive the strongest gusts tomorrow.
