Cherry Blossoms Bring out the Masses

Rain may have canceled Sunday's festival, but thousands turned out Saturday at Descanso Gardens.

Trying to beat the storm, visitors flocked to Descanso Gardens to peep the Cherry Blossoms, in the gardens' first-ever Cherry Blossom Festival. Originally scheduled for  March 19th and 20th, the festival was canceled on the 20th. Some 3,000 people attended the day before.
