Beating the Heat by Heading to the Beach (Video)
Residents in La Cañada and La Crescenta take the easy way to Santa Monica by using the summer beach bus.
Patch climbs aboard the La Crescenta La Cañada Beach Bus and asks riders what they like about the summer transit that takes them from the Foothills to the Pacific and back again. The Beach Bus goes to Santa Monica every Tuesday, Thursday, Friday Saturday and Labor Day through September 5th. The cost is $1.50 for seniors and the disabled and $3 for everyone else. Children under age 12 must be accompanied by an adult.
