Verdugo Hills Hospital (VHH) will hold a community blood drive on Wednesday, Sept. 19 from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. The drive, sponsored by the American Red Cross, will be held in the hospital’s Council Rooms B & D, located on the 4th floor.
Before donating, blood donors must be in good health; be at least 17 years of age; bring photo I.D., weigh at least 110 pounds; drink plenty of water; eat a nutritious meal; and have not received tattoos within the last 12 months. All blood donations will benefit patients at VHH.
All donors will be entered into a drawing and will also receive two free tickets to the Laugh Factory, a Mimi’s Café coupon, and a voucher redeemable for two USA Chivas tickets.
