Blog: The Importance of Volunteerism

Volunteering in your community can be one of the most positive and rewarding experiences. At the Community Center of La Canada Flintridge, volunteering your time and talents can really go a long way. As a volunteer, you can assist in a class, coach a T-Ball team, become a camp counselor for Camp Runamuk, assist at a special event, and serve as a role model for younger people. No matter how you help, you will make a big difference as you work with others to create a feeling of connectedness in the community.

"The great thing about volunteering for CCLCF, is that it's close to home, rewarding, and fun!" said Amanda Balcazar, Program Director of the Community Center of La Canada Flintridge. "I love my volunteers, they work hard, and the kids really look up to them" she added.
